**I posted this on my Facebook “Like” page, I thought I would also share it here. www.facebook.com/coach.demi** So I want to share something with you. It might seem like a rant, but that’s ok. Sometimes they are needed. I was inspired by my husband today. If you don’t know, my husband does Beachbody too with me, as well as owning a local painting company here in SC. He gives estimates to major companies, along with many other painting companies (which are his “competitors”), and it’s up to the client on which painting company and estimate they choose. If they choose Jason’s company-great-if not-he moves on. He has a 2 or more week back log anyway. Which is considered VERY busy in his industry. I told him today that I’m not going to go after people to join this business. I’m not going to make our Team all fancy and full of FLUFF. I’m not into the “POPULARITY” game, I just want to get people results in their life. I want it organically grown, with a powerhouse of people on it. Which is happening! (LOVE MY TEAM!!) Ok. I know I haven’t posted in a long time, but I’m working on being more consistent. I figured why not start now, with a nice transformation story to share! You see, for about a month I really did LET IT ALL GO. I ate what wanted to. I drank what I wanted to. I had dessert every day. It was ridiculous. I then took a picture (which then turned into my “before” pic). I was flabbergasted. I then weighed myself. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? I was 132 lbs. I haven’t been that weight since about half way through losing my baby weight from my second child. NOT OKAY!!! But it was big wake up call. An amazing program had just been released, and of coursed I ordered it. I knew it was coming in the mail at any moment. When it did-I went HARD. Not just with my workouts, but with my NUTRITION. I *knew* that’s where the results really do LIVE-but I was not previously applying it. I decided for the next 60 days of this program, that I was most certainly going to apply it, and I was not going to cheat. And I did not cheat. [...]

I know a lot of you come to Beachbody Fitness programs and wonder, “Which one should I friggin get??! There are so many!” And a bit of confusion can set in. I want to answer the most popular questions about these programs that I get. 1) Which program is best for fat loss? Well-that is a very triple sided question, and difficult to answer. Of course, muscle burns fat, even at rest. So a muscle building program can be in your favor if you have a lot of fat to lose. Options include P90X, Body Beast, and Chalene Extreme. They all do have cardio components in them, but muscle building is the main goal there. As far as picking a program-I ALWAYS advise people to watch a video preview of the program-and see which trainer you “vibe” with the best. Let’s face it, if the trainer’s voice, accent, attitude, etc annoy you-you won’t be pressing play everyday! It’s all about finding that “Soulmate” workout/trainer. Now-if you want to go down the cardio route-and burn fat first, you can do that. If you are very obese, I would recommend starting with Slim in 6 or TurboJam. They are beginner programs for [...]
